Le Wast Weekend

One event not listed above is a weekend visit to Le Wast in France. There is plenty to see around the area. Our own Provincial Prelate Tony Miller has produced an article about the Templars around Le Wast available to download here.The Agincourt battle site is, of course also well worth a visit, very atmospheric and well presented. Also, nearby at Fressin there is an excellent wine cellar with lesser known, well produced French wines from many regions. Then there is the walled city of Montreuill, a most charming place with pavement cafes and bars, even boasting a 5-star Michelin restaurant. All these are within a short drive from the hotel so there is plenty to do as well as being ideal for socialising and getting to know each other better.

The Le Wast weekend is usually in April. Travel is by personal choice with the Chateau being 15km from Boulogne and 30km from Calais. There is a formal dinner on the Saturday night. Details will be circulated well in advance.
