Provincial Prior’s Welcome

I would like to welcome you to the website of the Provincial Priory of Middlesex of the United, Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple and of St. John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta.

If you are already a Freemason, but not yet a member of this Order, I hope you will look at this site and learn about us, our ceremonies, the requirements for membership, and how to join.

The history of the original Knights stretches back into the mists of time and is both intriguing and mystifying, but once sampled; it is like a novel you cannot put down. Sadly there is only room for the basics on this site.

The Provincial Priory of Middlesex was Constituted in July 1970 so we had hoped to celebrate our 50th Anniversary during 2020 and also during 2021 but we needed to abandon doing so due to the effects of the Coronavirus. On the 7th July 2021 we held a Provincial Virtual Business Meeting where much of the administrative business of the Province was transacted. On the 23rd October 2021 we held our next Annual Meeting and finally we were able to focus on the ceremonial aspects of what would normally form part of a full Annual Meeting. The next full Annual Meeting at Mark Masons' Hall was finally held on the 6th July 2022 at which we were able to celebrate our 50th Anniversary properly.
